Instructor
Michelle Walshe
Michelle Walshe is an experienced Charity Trustee and leader with a wealth of experience in designing and implementing best-in-class corporate governance practices and strategic plans. A qualified chartered accountant with over ten years of audit experience. Worked in the not-for-profit sector as financial controller and currently sit on the board of three charities, acting as treasurer for two. For nearly 10 years Michelle was managing director of the family business with over 240 employees.
Currently working as a consultant, guiding numerous companies as they design their strategic plans and related action plans. Also, advise clients on how to implement robust corporate governance policies and procedures. Over the last two years, Michelle has completed extensive work on the corporate governance code, including completion of the record and creating the necessary supporting material required by organisations to ensure compliance.
Michelle has extensive experience in leading teams through transformation change, engaging and upskilling them to achieve the strategic goals of the organisation or company.
